We stayed for a few days in Hampi, a small village in the middle of nowhere/central-south India, to visit an impressive set of ruins and temples.
Hampi was a very comprehensive stop, where we really did it all:
Jeremy and Alina,
Mr and Mrs Nonsense
The Indian postal service |
The circle of life: worshipers would leave offerings of rice, monkeys would eat the rice, and ... Wait, no, that's all that happened, no circle of life here |
Alina and the tree, ot a viewpoint on Hampi |
Jeremy met a monkey and introduced himself |
Jeremy and the monkey instantly bonded |
The monkey taught Jeremy a few tricks |
And Jeremy also taught the monkey some tricks of his own |
Alina the explorer |
Nut-shell boats, the only means of transportation between the two sides of Hampi |
We were in Hampi for Hannoukkah and bumped into a Habad house there, so we went and lit the candles one night!
Alina played with a cool dradle, to win some chocolates! |
Returning to our side of the river after the Hannoukkah party |
We partied super hard in Hampi, as examplified by the facts that there are cool lights in the background and our faces are blue |
Making new friends! |
Charlie's Angels |
Hampi was a very comprehensive stop, where we really did it all:

Making a stop on the way for "romantic time" as our creepy boat driver explained |
Weird carvings. No idea what they are for but we thought you might be interested in them |
